Up and until 1866, the church praise was led by Mr. J.F. Miller with the aid of two tuning forks. These have been framed and are held at the Uniting Church Archives. In 1866 it was resolved that a memorial be sent to Presbytery asking their permission to use the harmonium to assist the Psalmody of the church. Miss Edith Murray was the first organist and was followed by Miss Fanny Godfree, Mr. I Royal, Miss Margaret Maxwell, Miss Floss Miller, Mr. L Shearer and Mrs. M Rundle. When Miss Godfree was organist. a choir was first formed which continued to lead the worship every Sunday till about 1976. In the 1920 -1930 period there were 18 – 20 members, Miss Floss Miller -later as Mrs. W.C. Miller, began playing the organ on the second Sunday in January 1910 and continued as organist until the third Sunday in January 1976 when she had almost reached 90 years of age. She played on the third Sunday by special request of the Rev. Alf Ellison who was preaching his last service in the Parish.
